It’s organic, hard, soft, alive, art, a plant, a person, an event, a vision, a poem, an image, a touch.
Solo Diver was commissioned to design the visual communications for (Inter) \Spinas\ }Florent{. 👀🌵This was a ceramics exhibition among plants that took place in Athens in January 2019 and it was curated by Kiriakos Spirou.

🎉 Finalist at EBΓE Design Awards
The exhibition’s visual communication focuses on the organic and formal elements of the exhibition. The concept of mimicking nature was introduced in the graphic design through the use of thick strokes for the illustration and the use of organic shapes inside the booklet. The exhibition’s key visual is a hand. 🌵🖐🌵 This emphasizes the handmade character of the ceramics and the main connection between man and nature. It also looks like a cactus plant with four leaves.
The three poems included in the catalogue were used to create three posters that were part of the exhibition. Inside the catalogue, a small map guides the visitor to discover the exhibits and observe them from up close in relation to the plants that surround them. 👉 The tactile element was very central in the exhibition, as visitors were invited to touch the exhibits. To match that, a very tactile special paper was used for the catalogue’s cover that has the texture of leather.
